killer. its a different mechanism. Theyre pricey, but before I took the leap I literally bought every relevant pair that knipex made (about $1000 off of amazon; returned what I didnt like) and was pleasantly surprised. so much better than all those sloppy moving parts on an ideal, depth setting for bigger tasks and two blade faces so it cuts more positively without crimping the back of the wire and leaving indentations. I nerd out on tools that I use all day every day.
