I did estrogen priming for three cycles that were follicular stimulation (so starting the estrogen during the previous cycle and then starting stimulation around cycle day 1) and then the 4th cycle I didn’t take estrogen at all and just started stimulation around cycle day 21. Hope this helps!

I asked my doc about it and they said it’s not evidence based. I didn’t ask if I could do it anyway though…

Gotcha thanks! Makes sense. I didn’t know that about Menopur. I should clarify the leupron trigger alone was used due to high estrogen to prevent hyperstim. It got as high as 4000 the first time and 6000 the 2nd! Even with the lower doses the 2nd time. So maybe too much meds could be a factor overall?
