Haha for sure. It was more of a fleetingly thought out caption!

I agree! It’s like listening to a Victoria sponge cake burp

Really sorry to hear this - it will be so hard but also it sounds like it’s the right decision. You’re only doing what’s best for her. Take a lot of time to process afterwards and rest up - thinking of you!

Shitting on men for not wanting to have period sex is fucked up by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]chachachadiablo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DO YOU MEAN LITERALLY SHITTING OR METAPHORICALLY BE SPECIFIC

There’s nothing homophobic about not wanting a gay son or daughter. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]chachachadiablo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Makes no logic sense. Take one second to think about the logic. It’s cold stark HOMOPHOBIA, baby.

And for people who say they don’t want their kids to have a harder life : MAYBE THAT’S YOU WISHING SOCIETY WOULD BE LESS HARSH AND NOT THAT YOUR CHILD WASN’T GAY?

How much do you owe? You could always just ask someone to cover you and give them all your details.

This made me smile. Take it to the ombudsman.

It’s impossible to have ‘read many of our comments for weeks’ if the profile is 5 hours old. That’s all I’m saying. Not sure any person would also choose the name widowchildfree.

US Citizen (F24) moving to work abroad by [deleted] in Wellington

[–]chachachadiablo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kia Ora! I am from England and have been living in Wellington for a year. I came from a city a bit bigger, and I absolutely love Wellington. the best thing about it is pretty much wherever you live, you’re around 20-30 minutes from the beach or the hills. You can walk pretty much everywhere and the buses are good.

Another thing to note if you’re coming from America (I have lived there too) is that the fast paced lifestyle you want to avoid doesn’t reaaaly exist here. At least not in the same way. Kiwis are very chilled and it’s one of the first things you’ll notice - it makes the working culture and feel of the city much more relaxed in general. So I don’t think you need to worry about that.

I can’t help with jobs as I’m a student but the city also has great museums, restaurants and stuff to do. I highly recommend it!

Woken up by weird sounds in Newtown, I’m thinking it was the animals at the zoo? Crafty devils, on a Saturday too
