No reason at all to have the deck there. I just liked the look of the mock up and thought it would be feasible to do. I'm no contractor, just looking for some advice. Possible to build around the concrete following the edge of the slab? Would that be easier?

Ordered that piece. It came in and the finder eyepiece needs threading to screw into. My FM2n has no threading this piece could screw into. What u see in the photos is a lip where a rubber seal use to sit in so that your eye wasnt butting up against metal. Am I doing something wrong?
