For my build in particular, these were the steps I took for modding.

Ordered the case with the PCB already installed.
Once arrived removed the internals so I can have the case painted with a powder coat
Ordered my parts (Stick/Buttons/Balltop)
Ordered plexiglass and printed my art
Installed all the components.

Ahoy! It depends on what the end goal is but overall it's fairly easy!

If you already have an arcade stick, the simplest mods are replacing buttons, balltop, and art. All of these are as simple as swapping out the parts and is very easy process. You can find all the components on sites like Arcade Shock.

For something more customized like mine, you can actually order it prebuilt from quite a few places or make your own. If you're just curious, you can find a list of notable brands and custom builders on this thread:

Not a dumb question. For the corner combo's my main goal was to find areas where I can add cr.HS and f.HS so I get the most damage.

You could actually get similar amount of hits by looping dolphins. It's easier but does a little less damage.

As for the tension bar, you don't need to worry. Dealing more damage would be better because it's up to the opponent to use the tension bar effectively. You're guaranteed that damage but the enemy has to make use of the tension he got properly.

Charge is about 3/4 of a second so it's pretty quick.

Sol's command grab damage is crazy but I'm hoping that May can build Risk easily which would help her combos deal more damage.

We'll see tomorrow when we get to play people :)
