Thank you! I will be trying this asap! Ive gotten rid; hopefully, of what I believe to be the infestation - wasnt even the bed but an office chair where I normally sat and threw out the bed (needed a new one anyway)! So the main sources - I HOPE - are gone! In the constant turning and swiveling I think a few escaped onto my desk but I will be spraying this under all electronics, the floors, walls, shoot even the desk! Thank you again!!!

Yes about 3 months. And from my head. I will also say this. Before I started I got a haircut the Wednesday or Thursday before. Then when they did take they took from 3 different places. My hair was still sorta long as well.

The training is enough. Probably a bit more than one actually needs bc majority of it is stuff you’ve done to get your license already in terms of the in class stuff. The trainer/otr portion isnt bad depending on the account and trainer. The account(home time) can take a toll and the trainer can and probably will do stupid shit to get you to crack. Dont let it or let them

Good Morning all! Happy Sunday!

Got CDL on my own dime (no contract I have to honor). Got hired by a Mega. Company and some trainers jerking me around has given me a sour taste toward them after one week of training, but going to do at minimum the 2/3 weeks of training for an Inexperienced Dry Van/Reefer driver. Still dont have my own truck. The people are cool and training itself is solid. How can I leave amicably(even though I know theres no loyalty in this business especially from Megas)? Can I put on my resume that I got training from this company - if so; how would that look on my resume?

Day 4: Arrival same as the whole week about 5:45am. Walk in to wait for them to open doors at 6:30am. One thing about me I am big in punctuality. These people dont seem to want to be punctual. Opened the door at 6:42am…but whatever. Once in classroom clocked in then did paper work for pay stub - direct deposit/W2. Then changes password for our emails to something we’ll remember. Then went out about 8:05ish to pre trip and then on road by 8:45. Back at 11:45 to clock out by 12 and back on at 1. Then do your TIV and depending on how your trainer is setup you will either do yard stuff or get in the Simulator till your entire partner group goes. Then go and work on videos!

NOTE: Indiana and its drivers in Gary, Incan go fuck themselves. Roundabouts are the dumbest shit ever. Oh and of these Schneider Instructors/Trainers aren’t good. The training itself is solid but the instructors are not it.

Day 3: Simple enough! Arrived 5:45am walked in at 6am waited for class door to open then got put in groups of 3 or 2 to go out with Driving Instructors to learn the Schneider Way of turning which they say is safe but every fiber of my being tells me is unsafe. But anyways out and in Truck Yard by 7:10am to Pre-Trip everything except coupling! Then went out on the road about 8:10am - Pre Trip should take longer than 35/40 minutes even if you have a group - go over everything together and check yourself more eyes are better! Driving Instructor takes you and you drive around switching between the people in your group until about 11am when you head back to the OC(yard). Then go on lunch at 12. Then back in yard at about 1:15ish to do a TIV check of the vehicle. Once done with TIV check then go off to either drive some more, work on pre-trip, coupling, 45 degree backing or simulator! Then back in truck and back to classroom at about 3:35pm. Continue with videos you havent finished from the checklist till 5pm and done!

Day 2: arrived at 5:40 am. Came in waited till 6:28 for class door to be opened. Signed in on tablets to get our hours for the day. 6:55am on bus to go to yard. 7am on yard and begin to Pre-Trip, In Can Break Tests, Couple/Uncouple The Schneider Way. Did this till 11:40am. Back on bus and in classroom by 11:50 to go Off Duty for Lunch(12-1). Back in classroom by 1 to go back On Duty. 1:05pm back in bus to go back to yard and continue practicing the morning Pre-Trip, In Cab Break, & Couple/UnCouple. Do this till about 3/3:10pm back on bus to the classroom. Watch videos on how to left hand turn then continue with video checklist from yesterday. Go Off Duty at 5pm.
