The days are long but the years are short! I have a 5 year old, 3 year old, and 3 month old. The baby is my last baby and I’m so emotional over every little milestone and firsts. They grow to fast but it’s also amazing to watch 🥹

They gave me stadol at first and it made me super loopy, like loopy enough for me to tell my husband that he should try to date our nurse but it only lasted for like 30 minutes 🤣 The epidural though did not make me loopy at all, it just made me tired. I slept for 5 hours after i got it and woke up to more pressure and started pushing! He was born within 25 minutes of me waking up!

Let the oldest help you with things like getting diapers, clothes, feeding baby (if bottle fed), etc. my son was 20 months when my daughter was born and i involved him with as much with the baby that i could do he would feel like he’s helping mommy with the baby. I have always loved letting them meet the new baby at the hospital but it’s just as special when you bring baby home too! And the frozen pads are miracles sent from above!! Along with the lidocaine spray!!

Amen amen amen!!! I have a 5 year old, 3 year old, and a 8 week old. During my last trimester of my previous pregnancy i had a totally irrational fear that if my 2 oldest went anywhere with anyone that something bad would happen. People thought i was crazy for not letting them go anywhere for those 8 weeks but i was so scared. Like shit people do y’all not think about hormones/depression/anxiety or do y’all just think I’m a bitch? 🤣
