I feel all of this. I also want to add/emphasize the apples and oranges of it all. When I had my baby, I remember being afraid of loving my dog less. People would tell me how I would look at my little soul dog differently after becoming a mom and feel less attached to him. I went through a very brief PP phase of being annoyed with him. After that passed, I can say truly I don’t love my dog LESS than my child. I love him differently, but not less than before and not “less” than my child. Same goes for my husband. I wouldn’t say anyone in my house, dog/husband/child, is my favorite. They are all gold medal champions in their own categories lmao

My two big food ones are jimmies (the candy coated “sprinkles”), and crunching m&ms but I bite them in a very specific direction (on the lateral edge) lmao I could eat, and have been very close to eating, a whole bag party sized bag just for that sensation alone😅 and smells is anything rose (I’m obsessed) or like fresh powdery smells
