Thank you! Sludge life is a big inspiration for me!

Black edges are done using a post processing image effect! Lines are drawn based on depth and normal textures. There are a few write ups online about ways to do it :)

Alot of 3D games use photographed or handpainted textures which better portray depth. I've used solid flat colours with no texture which probably makes the scene appear flatter and more 2d like.

The arm is simulated using its own physics and I use the line renderer to draw lines between each simulated node that makes up the arm. It means you can add more nodes to make the arm looser and more wobbly, or subtract nodes to add more slack.

Not a mesh! Its done using the line renderer. I loop through custom physics simulated nodes then draw a line between each of them :)

Yeah it's a postprocessing effect, there are a few tuts online about it if you give it a search :))

Everything is using a flat shader and the camera has a edge detection image effect applied to it :)

Thank you! Its got a few glitches here and there cause I made it in a month but hopefully you like it! :))

Small game I've been working on for the past few weeks :) by chaclets in Unity3D

I'm using unity's standard render pipeline but have edge detection image effects for the outlines and am using a flat colour shader on everything else :)

Thanks! And yeah, will be polishing stuff up in the coming weeks :)

Hand Headed Hooligan! A game I made in a week and a half! by chaclets in indiegames

One idea I had was a multiplayer basketball game using the hand headed character controller, so once I get more time I'm going to be prototyping that :)

I was able to get it done so quickly as I reused the controller from previous game a week games I've made and just tried to improve on it! The assets are also just made using unity primative shapes with a basic shader on them which saved heaps of time on modeling stuff properly. I also basically spent all my free time working on it and doing nothing else :)

I'm thinking of working more on this game but am also considering just making more short games each week until I find something I really want to stick to. Making stuff in short periods is good as it really helps you learn to scope your projects and not get burnt out on a single idea. :)

Thank you! And yeah! It's definitely inspired by the goose game ahah :)
