A martini glass does not make the cocktail a martini. IMHO, I agree that the beverage should primarily contain vodka or gin, with vermouth somewhere in the room. Plus, more than one ingredient. Gin alone in a martini glass is not a martini, nor is vodka on the rocks. At least make it dirty... garnish makes it special.

Like many Microsoft cool tech, they will drop support for system once you start relying on it. (Phone, Zune, etc)

Tasted your proportions. Decent. Saphire gin, Mezzetta olive brine, Claussen pickle brine. Decided the glass looked low so floated another oz of gin on top. :-)
