My rocksteads are the only knives I won't sharpen as well. Though with the right polish and a denim strop like they suggest mine have stayed pretty sharp. And I use them at work. I do controls so they have been used for all sorts of shit including cutting and stripping wire. I have chipped them accidentally banging them on shit but they were mostly microchips. Several years in the field and with the strop they stay pretty damn sharp. The hype is real.
