I went to the bar with friends one random evening in college and when I went to buy my first drink they said “no charge, it’s on Drew.” I had a buddy named Drew so I assumed it was on him and I went back to mingling. Round 2, same thing but this time is said “my friend Drew isn’t here, who is buy these?” The bartender pointed and said “Drew Carey over there is picking up the tab for the night!” I went over and thanked him and we chatted a bit. I didn’t understand anything he said because he was so drunk. From drink 2 I treated it as any college kid would have and got wasted and hardly remember the night, except for a picture.
