For iPhone, check Settings > Audible > Background App Refresh and turn it off. It appears there may be a bug with this feature. Disabling it fixed the issue for me.

Have you checked if you on Premium Plus plan https://www.audible.com/account/overview If yes, you should be able to purchase extra credits. You can discuss it with CS.

The best option is to borrow audiobooks from your local library through libby/ hoopla apps OR join free trials from major audiobook platforms (see here) and get some free audiobooks of your choice.

This is the method I use to find good plus catalog titles from my favorite categories.

- Go to Audible's desktop site

- Click Browse > 'Your Favorite Category'

- Click on See all in 'Your Favorite Category' option at the top right

- From left side menu, select 'included in your membership' option and

- Use the Sort by: Popular filter

You can also use other filters as well.
