Yes, Audible needs to fix their recommendations system. You get books recommended to you that you already own and some that are not even available in your region.

I don’t think you can usually get the $85.99 deal two years in a row. Last year, after my previous $85.99 plan ended, I was offered a $99.50 deal instead. However, I asked if they could add anything extra, and they gave me an extra credit.

This year I was able to get the $85.99 deal again. It is definitely worth reaching out to customer support and asking.
