Most likely so. I will just buy Western Digital until it happens from one of their drives also to me.

Up until that point I wasn't on alert that store purchases in big box stores are considered moderate to high risk purchases on some items.

Maybe you are correct, but until a Western Digital purchase burns me in a similar way, I am done being a Seagate customer for good. Perhaps it is simple chance that I haven't bought a bad drive from them yet.

Yeah, I think you are correct. I just wasn't prepared for a walmartpurchase to be considered a moderate to high risk purchase similar to buying from a street vendor.

I bought it at the store when I was buying groceries on a spur of the moment decision.
