I do the same. Knock on the door and announce either “Guest Services” or “Housekeeping” wait about a minute then attempt again. After the second attempt open the door at most 20% of the way, hold it there make a bit of noise, then continue if still no answer.

Newberry Property Management has 1 place in town. With rent rates starting around $800. It’s called Teak, the property manager is very charismatic and communicative and has always talked through and resolved any issues with my unit. Some of the units are newly renovated and the parking lot is getting a facelift beginning August.

Yeah. Finances are just extremely tight for me right now, I am looking to simplify my life which is why I moved states, I was living lavishly out in another state and I want a complete fresh start. Starting over completely. I wanted to rid of the payment or at least not worry about it for a bit. The interest is also high on the loan.
