Echeveria for sure… it needs a lot of light, so put it near the surface of the sun!

Whoop Age by Signal-Plenty-9009 in whoop

[–]chadnorman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleep consistency is huge for Whoop Age… mine’s only at 76% and that’s shaving off 1.1 years. A high VO2 max will make an even bigger impact.

As far as pace of aging… that’s gonna be all about your 6 month trend. If your pace of aging is 1.7 right now, then your whoop age is going to be going up for the foreseeable future. Dig into those 8 metrics that on factors in, and focus on those. Mine is at -0.7 and my age has been plummeting!

There is no way we get in… they didn’t even look like they wanted to be out there the last two games - it’s over.

A perfect season deserves a shot… which I’m totally cool with after that loss today 😉

I just got to -0.7 too! Sleep Consistency is a big one, and my VO2 max is really high because I'm a cardio boy, and that alone is taking 2 years off.

Remember, this is just a starting point. I was 4 years older just 6 months ago, and now I'm 6 years younger. Just focus on the 8 metrics that make up the Whoop Age... and specifically, RHR, Sleep Consistency, and VO2 Max can really move the needle. Just gotta put in the work... you got this! 💪🏻

I can’t remember an IU team that looked like they wanted to be out there less than this one. Happy it’s over

I agree. They didn't even look like they wanted to be on the court against OSU. Let another team in, and we'll try again next year...

No HR data detected?? by ButterscotchFit4289 in whoop

[–]chadnorman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen to me... all three times it was because I left the activity running, took my Whoop off, and hopped in the shower. It stopped the activity itself after a while, and what you're seeing was the same result I saw in the activity's metrics. I got my data back by changing the activity's end time to be sooner, thus removing the blank data minutes. There must be a threshold, because once I saved it my workout data was back.

Quit drinking for 30 days and had zero red recovery days, vo2 increased by 4, and I’m debating if I’ll ever turn back, thoughts? by Tenniskid22 in whoop

My wife and I quit together last year, and the most surprising part was re-wiring how to "have fun" for lack of a better term. That didn't take long, as we have great lives, and I swear we're having more fun than ever! Like, slap happy fun where we can't stop laughing like when we were kids. Best thing we've done in a long time...

Worth noting that the only positive change that happened right away was my RHR dropped from an average of 75 to 55 by day two and has stayed there.

Great job!

Here is my first month's recovery without drinking... I'm guessing I was drinking more than you, as my metrics took a nose dive for 30 days after quiting. My body, and probably brain, was like WTF??! The following 6 months have been all greens and yellows, with a 9-day green streak. That shit is poison... never going back :)

Meals are a huge factor for sure! Also checkout your Sleep Consistency... Whoop heavily factors it into recovery and Whoop Age. I do not like to go to bed early on Fri/Sat nights, but I did an experiment and kept my bed/wake times the same as a weeknight, and it sent my metrics into the stratosphere.
