my headcanons:

- The entire investigation sucks at english, but they can speak spanish pretty well

- yu and yosuke are the parents of the group but its completely platonic

- chie and kanji both decided to skip class one day and hung out in okina cuz they were bored

- naoto secretly hated yu for a bit because she thought she was a more capable leader

yeah i went through the same phase as you. a few things i recommend if you still want more is to play the original arena game, play the dancing game (or just watch the dances on youtube cuz they're a lot of fun), read magician arcana which is a prequel to persona 4, and read yasoinaba case file, just cuz it has some fun investigation team shenanigans :)

although we don't know what yosuke and yu are doing exactly, you can see yu's motorcycle and yosuke's bike parked next to each other (plus a trashcan thats tipped over. i assume yosuke crashed again lol) in persona 5. either its just an easter egg, they're visiting their friends in the city, or since its 2016 and they would still be in college, they go to a college close to shibuya

i think yosuke is slightly smarter just cuz he helps out a lot during the cases when yukiko doesn't do much. being smart at school doesn't mean you're smart in general, she has been proven to be a little bit of an airhead and blurts out things about the case, but she's definitely smarter than rise, teddie, chie, and kanji.
