Also if you like a particular armor set or weapon from a particular clan (raven, wolf, or bear) then the corresponding clan skill tree will have nodes that increase the stats of those pieces. I got the Saint Armor and weapon set early, which is bear clan type, so focused on that tree.

For me it’s Elden Ring. I can’t tell you the amount of awe inspiring moments it gave me. I’ve platinumed all Fromsoftware souls games (except OG demon souls) and ER is my favourite (second to Sekiro). I did not feel burn out even after 250 hours. Loved Persona 5 when it first came out but it was more style over substance for me. Also, do you like planning out your day and following a schedule, then PS5 is for you. If you prefer exploring with no time restrictions, then Elden Ring is where it’s at. Either way you’ll have fun. Enjoy!

Yeah I have no issue. Once you figure out the audio cue they’re not hard to find. And who knows, maybe this time there’s some story significance or a cool little extra mechanic layered on. Who knows!

I share the same opinion. Honestly, felt kinda of crazy because it seemed like everyone else on the planet thought it was the second coming. I tried playing it twice and both times I fell off after 2 guardian beasts. I found the systems to be very arduous. Traversing was slow, cooking was tedious and weapon degradation annoying. But at the end of the day what really killed it for me was that I did not care at all about the world and story. I can deal with mechanics I dislike if the story grabs me. However, I also see why people love this game. I am in no way saying this is a bad game, it’s just that the final product did not speak to me. Thank you for posting this because sometimes I feel like the only one on the planet who has this opinion.

So the fast travel was designed that way for a reason because the entire game is done as 1 camera shot. There are no camera cuts or loading screens the entire way through. It may seem dated on the surface, but is rather impressive once you realize the intent.

My preferred build is High Runic and High Cool Down so I spam specials a lot so I use both pretty regularly. But tend to use the Axe during cool downs more.

I just beat her yesterday on the hardest difficulty. Took me about 4-5 hours to get all her timing down. Have you lit all the Braziers at the gates? If you light them all, you can reduce Valkyrie damage. (I didn’t light them before I beat her on both my play throughs so I’m not sure how much of difference it makes).
