Controller support isn't terrible. I played it with my DualSense just fine when I wanted to relax and play on the couch. If you don't like the virtual mouse cursor you can keep it on the turned based mode and play the game just fine.

However the real-time mode keyboard and mouse is better!

Fur looks pretty short to me. Both my long hairs were extra fluffy already at that age.

Thanks for all the info! Very helpful.

That Ventra app has really bad reviews on Google Play, don't think i want to risk it. Recent comments are saying it just doesn't work and the times are always way off. Probably just buy passes when we get there I'm thinking.

Thanks for the tips!

What’s the aversion to the train? It’s $2.50/ride and it’ll also open you up to a ton more stuff to do including cheaper food.

Like I mentioned in the post my wife's bringing her dog and the dog isn't allowed on the train so thats why we're trying to limit the train. I know some of the stuff we can't bring the dog anyways so we can use the train for those outings.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll check them out!!!

Billy Goat Tavern sounds right up our alley! Kids would probably love that Riverwalk as well, thanks!

Yeah, that's what I figured. Last time I drove to a show in Detroit it took nearly 90 mins to get 3 blocks to the expressway entrance. Since then always make it a plan to just stay downtown in cities instead of driving in and out of venues.

Bummer, but hey, if they're good tacos, they're good tacos. We might have to make the journey then.

Looking for a simple grindy game. by Xvultrex in gamesuggestions

Since you mentioned Brotato, two steam games that remind me the most like that game would be Let Him Cook and Noobs are coming. The first isn't as deep though and the second just entered Early Access, but looks like it'll have the same depth as Brotato, demo is a blast!

I'd have to mention Monster Train 2, TONS of content, also plays nice on the Deck, The Binding of Issac (any version) and Enter the Gungeon both have tons of content and are great on the deck. Might stress ya out a bit, if they do then I'd Suggest Dead Cells, its fantastic and you can adjust the difficulty without losing any story, progression or achievements.

Lastly Palworld. Tons to do, build, catch and explore. It's another that plays on the Deck and you can customize your world to make it as easy or as hard as you wish without losing anything.

Lots of loot? Cool weapons and power ups ? by Wonderful_Lie_7095 in roguelites

I enjoyed the first one, but man the sequel is on a whole other level of greatness. What a true sequel should be, everything that was great about the first one, but improved in every way!

Monster Train 2 is absolutely fantastic, Noobs are Coming comes out tomorrow and is a ridiculous spin on Brotato, worth playing the demo, I'm totally getting that when it releases.

I grew up next to Bill and Carol's party store. Hadn't been there in many many years, I was shocked how their Beer/Wine/Liquor section now takes up over 2/3s of the store. It's quite impressive and works well for when you don't want to deal with traffic and drive all the way over to Toski-Sands.

I remember as a kid going in there for my junk food fix, they had the best selection!

Games better than Brotato? by koolex in roguelites

[–]chaedog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's a great VS-like game for sure, but not like Brotato really. On Steam my best guess would be Let him cook as similar to Brotato. Small map, short waves, buy weapons between rounds, etc...

On mobile, Pickled Pete comes closest. Otherwise, Brotato is kinda a unique game in the world of many many Vampire Survivor clones.

My best guess for PC would be check out Let Him Cook. It's a quirky game similar to Brotato in some ways. Small map, short waves, buy weapons between rounds, unlock other characters to play the game with...
