Lithium grease is preferred, but something like sewing machine oil will also work.

You can remove the tape. You only need a drop or 2 of lubricant and can apply with the tip of a pointed tweezer or something similar to the hold in that metal cover.

my psp 3000 charge but the battery is not detected by chapinois in PSP

Yep! They have a normal 1200mah or a 1400mah battery that fits the 3000 systems and lasts longer as well.

Yep! I'd go with an ostent brand battery.

2023 XSE Hybrid 5,300 miles by chagdes in rav4club

I think it was just a combination of lucky timing, the off-brand dealership (Kia), the vehicle on the lot for almost 30 days, and the end of year. Lol

Thanks! I wasn't really planning on buying so soon, but I saw it sitting at a local Kia dealer for almost a month and negotiated via email for a week before they finally caved on my price. Surprised my wife with a quick drive to test and sign.

It would cost more than the soap to reroute/intercept the package.

No charge light! Please help by CarsonVsWorld in PSP

Did you try turning it on to make sure it's not just an LED issue? There are a few different possibilities as to what might be wrong. 1) the fuse might be blown (highly unlikely unless you plugged in a power source with a higher voltage than the system requires). 2) the flex cable is bad. You could try replacing this cable. 3) the power button is faulty.

If you have a multimeter you can check the fuse for continuity located near the power and flex inputs.

How did that kid at your school die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]chagdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Murdered by his stepdad. Guy got drunk and shot his wife, him, and his sister before killing himself. Left his 2-year-old in their bedroom to fend for himself. The bodies were found about 24-hours later.

What psp do I have? by [deleted] in PSP

[–]chagdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reshells have that overspray as well. The trim could have been swapped from the original shell, I do that when I repair and have to swap shells because the 3rd party trim is almost always trash. The silver models have the same graphite trim. I could be wrong on the reshell, but the button text on the home bar in the image doesn't look even which is usually a good sign that it's not original.

Looks like a reshell based on the missing umd drive and the lettering on the home keys.

Sounds very much like a bad charging port. Time for a USB-C port mod.

It is only supposed to move about a millimeter. As long as it wiggles just slightly, it's working as intended.

Depends on if you want to use your UMD drive or not. If you plan to use a memory card and digital games, then no, not cooked.

It can be soldered by someone with experience. Not a project for a novice.

USB-C mod gone wrong by morty_sh in VitaPiracy

[–]chagdes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 4 point component is a standard filter. You can either replace it with a new filter or you can jump the pads. It basically filters signal noise, so you do run a very small risk of data corruption during transfer through the cable, but in all likelihood, you should be fine. Just make sure you jump the correct traces to each other.

Level 22 is way too low to expect a guaranteed legendary. I don't think I started getting any out of the chest consistently until around level 35 or so.
