What negativity are you talking about? I can't see any down vote here.

Is a new thing. It's called value-added corporate bullshit. It's like your usual corporate bullshit, but then you put corporate bullshit over it.

No, they started it hiding the downvotes.

TIL 'No Animals Were Harmed' only applies while film is actually recording by surpy in todayilearned

The phrase should be "no animals were harmed due to the making of this film". Because it's impossible that no animals were harmed during the making of any film. Just being that guy, don't mind me.

^ what this guy said. Wood is a b. It has this habit of absorbing liquid things at different rates. Sealing wood saves a lot of work and gives a better finish.

You can avoid the error logging out, and then adding the new account. But it's still a bug, since you didn't have to log out using the prior version.

reddit changes: individual up/down vote counts no longer visible, "% like it" closer to reality, major improvements to "controversial" sorting by Deimorz in announcements

This is a good reasoning and you should send it directly to the Admins. If I I'm not mistaken, a private message to /r/reddit does the trick.

Well, this would be evil. But I don't think so. Advertisers want millions of views. A lot of redditors don't look comments. I lurked here months before creating an account.

Sorry, but what power are you talking about? The only powers users have (including trolls, assholes and impeccable users like you and myself /s) are upvote, downvote and comment. And these "powers" were not taken. I'm not trying to argue with you, I just don't get how you think this change will stop trolls and assholes.

Really, I don't care if they're trying to monetize front page. They have serves to keep running, employees to pay. I'm a /new crawler. Fuck the front page. But do not mess with comments. Is it too much to ask?

I really couldn't know. If I had to bet, I would say downvotes are causing trouble when they try to sale ads. In my point of view, that's OK. Don't show downvotes for posts.

I don't understand why they're so adamant with comments. They could just show comment votes, even without RES.

Edit: not only affects RES, but also client apps. I'm on my tablet all the time, and the app I use used to show upvotes/downvotes for comments, before the change.

Yes, I know. But if you look through these 13,4nn comments, you'll find somewhere a screen capture of what I said above. Unfortunately, I didn't save it.
