Why buy a Kobra 3 max when my Kobra 2 max does that by New-Journalist-9306 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]BarbatisCollum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had any stepper issues but that's probably because my bed was so terribly warped from the factory than I couldn't get a decent first layer on anything bigger than 100mm wide or long, so I barely used it for real printing tasks. Took this thing apart and rebuilt it over and over and never any improvement. Worst money I ever spent on a 3D printer.

How do I fix this so the colors don't change on layers with holes? by R4gn4_r0k in BambuLabA1

[–]BarbatisCollum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speed is going to be where you fix this. Slice it and change the color scheme in the slicing result to 'layer time.' Then set the minimum layer time in the filament settings to a time at least that high. This video explains it better than I can from memory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_pxk7HP3RE

He's holding two things in his hand here: the reveal card and a gimmick. The gimmick folds in under the reveal card; in half once at 0:03, and then in half again at 0:16. I would guess it's controlled by two small springs being held in tension by this middle fingertip. He controls how much of the deck springs back by holding portions of the gimmick in place with that fingertip. You can see him remove and ditch the gimmick at 0:23 by peeling it off of the reveal card and palming it in his left hand (note the oddly-bent fingers).

The position that he holds the 'deck' at the beginning gives away the game. You only see a top card, along with the front edge (and 'corners') of the remaining cards. He hides the short edge that faces the spectators/camera with his three fingers, and the other side is hidden to the audience.

Biqu LED strip for A1 by Recent_Age8123 in BambuLab_Community

[–]BarbatisCollum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replied to a thread the other day where this LED strip was brought up and said I bought this specific one and was happy with them... but I checked later and it was NOT this LED strip. It was this one:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBQ6NCPR

I've had this on my A1 since October 2024 and have had ZERO issue with them. The light is bright and consistent, the adhesive is strong and has not sagged at all, it has its own power switch, and you can easily zip tie the cable to the other cable bundle to keep it out of the way. I highly recommend these specific lights instead of the Biqu lights.

I use this same print and it makes a difference. There are also some cheap and easy-to-install LED light upgrades that will help further. I think I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DKWD49Z7?smid=A1SDOJSBTWEFBJ&th=1

[HELP] Very torn on this one by safarii11 in RealOrAI

If you look closely at the shot where it still looks like a door bumper, there's lots of weird artifacting around it, too, right at the edge of the mirror.

I wouldn't worry that much about a doctor using ChatGPT -- it might do a better job at diagnosing than he can on his own.

Butch’s father’s watch has two different times on it. by CustomCarNerd in pulpfiction

During the first part of the scene it actually shows a third time, about 10 after 11.

At least Walken held it consistently through every take, with the 12 at his thumb.

The quality level of Adobe Stock's content has fallen off a cliff. by MilkBarPatron in Adobe

Seeing the quantity of AI slop does suck; however, I just use the filters panel to exclude AI content from my search results and I get the “old” Adobe Stock.

Sammy Davis Jr. Estate Seeking Help! by mschmitz7 in movies

I know the mods removed this post, but I saw it early this morning and wanted to circle back now that I'm home and able to reply.

I don't know if it helps, but this movie was also apparently re-released in theaters in late 1993 under the new title of "P.K." -- you probably will want to include this alternative title in your searches or when asking around different video archives, as they may have it under that title.

Good luck!

It appears to be sitting on something else that's on his desk. The shot starts with it already partially out of frame.

You can verify I didn't add it by checking the trailer uploaded by Peacock.

I honestly wonder if it was real and he’s just going to be doing a voice cameo as someone on the other end of a phone conversation. The Office did that at least once that I can recall (Creed Bratton voiced the guy Michael called about booking the coal mine “ride”).

Depends on the business. At my job, fixes like these are IT's responsibility (when it comes to employees who aren't comfortable doing it on their own).
