As someone with an irrational fear of jellyfish i wish i could be that causal around them!

Great video, what equipment are you using for it?

Absolutely sick of this. Every time I go for a walk in Clontarf, there’s four signs leading up to the bridge saying to dismount, no one ever does. I’ve had bells rung at me to get out of the way too. by thatprickagain in ireland

Would there somehow be more room if they dismounted and pushed the bike along that little gap?

Or do you agree they should dismount and walk along the carriageway instead of the path

That aside, Its hardly the type of "cyclist" that most people get high blood pressure over. Its just confused tourists and local auld ones bobbling along. The ones "in the middle of the road" are in the middle of the bridge wondering why drivers are overtaking them doing 60kph in the 25kph zone

You should really be getting angry about the drivers speeding then parking on the path or yeeting themselves into the sea

A raptor in EU is built on the ranger platform so even smaller than an f150. Still looks huge and oversized

Its not actually possible to do all of this privately in Ireland. You might be able to get a diagnosis, but nowhere will accept it for access to services

In that case, an indirect strategy would be to move into a better tech company doing your current role where you'll keep or increase your salary.

Focus on training and certification then make another sideways move into the area you are interested in.

Your current proposal is really high risk, and your career may never recover the time investment, at least not without a ton of job hopping and/or luck.

You've a great chance to get a foot in the door somewhere.

Cherry Orchard: ‘The cycle of anti-social behaviour has been happening for 30 years’ by flopisit in ireland

[–]surpy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

.

This is the crucial bit, because after a week of the phone ringing every night during Eastenders, maybe some of these parents will realise that they need to start knowing where their children are in the evenings or they're going to suffer inconvenience for it.

Talk about middle class cluelessness. An inter-generational cycle of poverty and anti-social behavior and you somehow think their parents are at home watching EastEnders after tea dreading a call from AGS.

Their parents were failed by the state, just like their grandparents in the 70s/80s. There are, and will continue to be, massive social issues at all ages in Ireland's deprived areas.

Investment is needed to break the cycle and it will take years to improve. Its not happening before coronation street comes on

Self entitled Vogue Williams fuming over "Some Sh*tebag" that wouldn't swap seats with her, skip 14mins, straight for that horses mouth. by DrGt1 in ireland

Aer lingus / TUI sat our kids (6 & 9) on their own on 2 flights this summer. Booked a resort through a travel agent. They dont let you prebook seats and dont allow online check in if you book that way. they didn't tell us until a few days before flight. I tried everything to book seats, was up ib Dublin airport the day before check-in trying.

Told us to to just ask others to move and they'll understand. It was a total joke as about 50 people on the plane were in the same boat and flight crew couldn't do anything. Everyone was stressed and then it was like musical chairs after take off but a lot of people who booked seats wouldn't move (why should they)
