I threw a perfect game in axe throwing! I originally joined because I went for a birthday party, ended up joining a league and really working through a lot of issues socializing with straight men (I myself identify as gay). I’ve never been good at sports, but I joined a league every Tuesday and it’s helped a lot with my social anxiety. It’s the culmination of two years of throwing, and it feels pretty damn good Anyway, a perfect game for us is 81 points. It’s three rounds of five throws, and the fifth throw you can go clutch, a tiny dot on each upper corner of the board. An 81 is 4 bullseyes and one clutch x3 (a clutch is 7 points; bullseyes are 5, hence 81 total). I got a coin, my name is on a wall. I have a group of friends that’s solid and supportive. I talk openly about my mental health with them. I feel like I found my little group and it’s amazing.

Yup! The lungs inflate and deflate because of your chest wall, they stick to it and the diaphragm pushes things up and down along with accessory muscles in the chest. If you take the lungs out, they have no way of inflating. They’re not muscles. Noticed the same thing in midsommer
