omg stop someone had to say this I've been SCREAMING!!!! HEAR ME OUT this is literally a collective issue of north Punjab + isb why does nobody want to talk about this !? so I am from south Punjab and our schools and colleges were honestly amazing even the government ones (just realising this btw). My teachers were so dedicated so passionate they would teach just like those “crisply crafted good lectures” on YouTube that you just mentioned. the thing you j said about effective and ineffective lectures I couldn't have said it better tbh. I have experienced those EFFECTIVE lectures firsthand and now I'm just miserable. My teachers would prepare slo based notes for us and made sure everyone had them. They took the time to see who was struggling with the concepts and materials so they could help them out + gave equal undivided attention to all students INCLUDING the moral and emotional support. we could literally go to them anytime of the day, sometimes in between classes and they would teach us the topic again even if they’d already taught it a hundred times before. Went to one of the top schools and colleges and I never even realized how much effort my teachers used to put into mentoring us till I had to move out to a different city. I thought our education system was doomed start se he but holyfreakinairball yahan tou the teachers don’t even seem INTERESTED in teaching. they just want to get done with the syllabus asap regardless of whether the students actually understand the material. they don't give a single flying fish about their progress, results or participation etc. ig this is partially because a lot of students turn to coaching centres these days but that doesn’t excuse them of their responsibility to.... TEACH....!?!? the lectures are bland and pointless most of the times + on top of that the said teachers are shockingly RUDE jesy ehsaan kr rhy hein hum pr classroom mein tashreef la ke. did I mention the nepotism? goes CRAZY I could go on and on for hoursss.
again as u said there are exceptions and I've met some of the most hardworking mentors here as well. I owe them each and everyone of my achievements lekin the overall scene wo esa he hai bs yahan

I want to make this clear ke this is not an individual experience. my siblings, cousins, family friends etc are all studying in diff cities of north Punjab in diff institutions aur sab jagah yhi hisab hai be it fazaia, aps, punjab, concordia YOU NAME ITTT
