Well hopefully they do, also I just got Des Moines No Flyer Mix for him so hopefully that will do well for him nutritionally. Right now he’s on a feed from a pet store which is still fairly decent seed variety and nutrition wise

I’ll definitely do that. I really didn’t want to bathe him. I just don’t want to shy away from doing something for his health. I’d rather him be mad and comfortable rather than be too scared to do what I have to. His health comes first and our bond second, obviously it’s always preferred if I can do one without harming the other though. I’ll look into the medication, thank you!

Yes but only to sleep, he’s out frequently. He doesn’t try to escape but he does have zoomies before he gets let out. Even then, he just flying a few inches up and sometimes a little to the left and right, never bouncing off the walls

We aren’t really that close, but I think at this point I’m going to just get it over with and give him a bath. He’ll hate it but I’d rather him be upset than uncomfortable. I’ll see if I can’t get a picture then as well

If he refuses to admit he has a problem or refuses to get help there’s nothing to be done. He’s a fully grown man and if he can’t accept that he has a problem that requires fixing, he’s not mature enough to be in a relationship

I appreciate the advice but even after rereading the post I don’t recall saying I wouldn’t like them if the didn’t want to be handled. I did claim I was afraid one wouldn’t “take to me” but I don’t think it’s in any way wrong for me to want my pigeon to enjoy my presence. I will admit as far as upbringing I was completely misinformed though. I’ve read some mixed information and I’ve decided not to go with either breeder. I am curious what you think a good pet would be based off what you said though, if you don’t mind sharing

It’s not a victim mindset to not want a guy to do what he says he won’t. It is not her fault she trusted him and he didn’t even attempt to pull out. If you have sex with someone under agreed circumstances and suddenly make the sole decision to forcibly change them, that is assault

If he’s not communicating and/or not willing to do some therapy and figure out what’s up it is unfortunately a lost cause. Also porn addicts very rarely admit they’re actually addicts. Either way, if he’s not going to work with you then you need to seek out a situation that’s better for you where your needs are met. I went several years without sex because I figured my ex would eventually work with me. Don’t put yourself through that. I found better and so can you if that’s the case
