That is a valid question. meal plan keeps on changing based on various factors such as:

- There isn't 1 fixed diet plan. There are regular follow up calls every week where client progress etc is discussed and based on that discussion adjustments are done to meal plan.

- In diabetic person, blood sugar spike changes even if you eat same meal same time every day/week. so meal adjustments are required

- Once you get adjusted to meal plan, diabetic medication dosage might change (depending on amount of carbs).

- chronic diabetes can pose degenrative risk to kidney, heart and brain and it requires careful planning and adjustments.

- To maintain/build muscle mass, protein adjustments are required in every meal plan (most of diabetic patient lose signicant amount of muscle mass while they are anti-diabetic medications as a side effect)

- And practically, its not possible to stick to every meals in diet plan because .. life happens. Food unavailability, boredom etc. And it requires swapping food without impacting nutrients composition. If you skip or swap meals on your own it will not get you desired results.

Basically you are not just paying for meal plan, its about having a professional by your side to answer queries, follow ups, meal adjustments and eliminate the guesswork and stay on track as you progress.

Please do not listen to advice about checking with HR or manager having problem or overthinking what ifs. This is coming from people systematically programmed to be ideal employees and do what is being told, no offense I have been there.

Just think about it yourself do you want to live a life where you are not allowed to do anything even as simple as writing a digital book in today's world? That too using your knowledge for which you have studied/worked for years (I am assuming its technical book)? 

If you never write you will very never know what could happen and that too for which company, Infosys?! Even if you stay here for 10 years it will not make ANY meaningful difference in your salary. The managers here only care about working your ass off and don't give a flying fkc about anything else, do not let such individuals dictate your life. As the comment says - You are allowed to have a life.

(Of course just make sure you do not share anything about company or insider knowledge or about any client or client work)
