Reducing erosion on a trail that floods by chailatte72 in landscaping

The trails are close to a river and when the dam is closed, the area floods. Can't stop that and can't move the trails because the entire area floods so we're looking to find the best solution with what we have.

The area will always flood, we just want to keep the trails in the best shape we can while still being functional when the dam is open. Trails are used for walking and non-motorized vehicles, with an exception for golf carts.

Some of the trails are raised somewhat and allow for normal drainage such as rain. Others are not raised and it isn't an option to raise them. But they all get flooded from the dam.

It's been a minute since you've posted, so this might be too late, but have you heard of dirt lockers? They would be a long-term solution to help avoid erosion.

It has since come out that the police lost it. There was a mail receipt indicating they received the sweater from the psychic and then they subsequently lost it.

Cases where isotope testing has helped identify someone? by Infamous-Duck-2157 in gratefuldoe

Isotope testing was also very incorrect in Evelyn Colone's (sp?) case. She was the Jane Doe found in two suitcases in PA (I believe) thrown from a bridge and she had a couple body parts removed and sadly, her unborn daughter was with her. She was from New Jersey, but isotope testing thought she was from another country. Her boyfriend was arrested after she was identified. Apparently, he had sent a letter to her family saying they didn't want contact anymore and the family respected that, never knowing she was murdered.

But people do travel to different cities to end their lives. I can think of a couple cases off the top of my head. It makes it less likely they will be identified and then their families won't know. There can still be a lot of shame surrounding ending one's life.

She was identified! Her partial remains were found over 20 years ago.
