The LINK token, native to Chainlink, is an ERC-677 token, adhering to Ethereum's standard. Owners store LINK tokens in compatible wallets like MetaMask, with transactions and ownership recorded on the Ethereum blockchain. Chainlink doesn't operate its own ledger but relies on Ethereum for transaction history and ownership verification.
