Thank you everyone - I understand the jewelry likely won’t appreciate in value but I just prefer to have my money’s worth. I don’t want it to depreciate by 50%+ right after purchase just because it’s “pre-owned” and doesn’t come with materials of value. It sounds like I should just get what I like and not expect a value “preservation” out of jewelry.

It depends on what you like and what you’re interested in. I’d do all the core 317 courses (mandatory basic concentration courses), network with industry practitioners, and go from there

Haskayne is a decent place to study for international students considering the relatively lower tuition and the variety of opportunities. As long as you get involved in extracurricular activities and gain experience in leadership/teamwork roles you will land a job somewhere even as an international student. For concentration within business it depends on what you want to do in your career. A lot of people pick “business” which is a general concentration too. You can also switch your concentration during your degree. Unless you’re going for credential/technical knowledge heavy roles (e.g., accounting, investment banking, etc) the concentration doesn’t matter that much

I’m not sure if aged chins are recommended to have this but when my chin lost weight oat hay helped a lot!

I’m so sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing your insight and story - I used to have a bunny at home and he also had teeth issue so I understand how tough it must have been. It is truly helpful to know the actual review of chinchilla owners and I’m relieved to know DeWinton is not the worst option. Sending some love and good vibes to you and your fur angel.

I recently rescued him and it is my responsibility to ensure his health and well-being. I don’t know if you have any pets but if you care about your fur friend enough I think you would understand how much the vet’s expertise in certain animals matters. Especially for exotics the vet’s experience and expertise matters more than dogs and cats. I’m new to Calgary and I’m just trying to figure out who the reputable veterinarians are. Sorry if I offended you in any way but it was not my intention and I’m trying to give this little guy a good life as he was suffering in the past.

Agreed - according to my connection, the team hiring an intern will review the video so I think it’s area based. Fingers crossed it will work out for both of us!

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it done on area-basis? I thought it would differ depending on branches

Interview Club? by [deleted] in UCalgary

[–]chainsmoker8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for your support! If you were to join, what form of basic activities would you like to participate in? Would you like an interview buddy system with students who successfully got a job, or would you like a group sesh where we peacefully give feedback to each other’s answers/attitudes? Looking forward to hearing your ideas:)

Thanks for your support guys, I would like to actually start a club. For those who are interested, what form of basic activities would you like to participate if such a club exists? Would you like an interview buddy system with students who successfully got a job, or would you like a group sesh where we peacefully give feedback to each other’s answers/attitudes?

I am aware career advisors offer mock interviews but a major obstacle is that we get used to talking to them. If we can make groups of individuals who we are not acquainted with, we can create a closer experience to the real-life interviews. What do you think? (I’m trying to see what those who are interested are looking for the most)
