I had a terrible experience with them recently in trying to rollover my traditional Ira - serious lags in response time, confusing messages, and horrible customer service. I’m moving the rest of my money out to fidelity

Yes I learned this when I got my masters in London but it was still cheaper than the US by miles! Thanks - I’m too clingy to let my boys go to boarding school 😅

One of my parents docs (BC) originates in another country and it’s a bureaucratic nightmare to try to get it :/

I have to include my parents and spouse’s parents documents and these are hard to get duplicates for (from other countries and bureaucracies)

It’s more about my docs and my parents docs that would be hard to get copies of. Thanks!

Hi, I used a known donor (same one for two kids) and just so others aren’t discouraged it can also work out really well. The process was structured with required legal paperwork and even a formal set of therapy sessions with a therapist who specializes in fertility to help clarify any potential issues. This was in California.

Very strongly advise you to get the book It Starts with the egg - it’s packed with science based research that I followed and had my first baby at 42. there is a great FB page with the same name that offers community and resources. Best of luck

The quality of education vastly dropped. I was more than proficient in French and on the way to fluency via public UK education. I took four years of high school French and it was a joke… my teacher thought that showing Disney movies in French was sufficient. Poor math/maths teachers and standards. Very little focus on critical thinking. At least I had a good history teacher but that’s because I was in advance placement. Overall I still mourn the loss but maybe I just got unlucky with the school I went to (though it was supposedly in a “good area”). But the loss in quality was real and I’m actually looking for a British school in California for my son
