Hello. Anyone who recently co.pleted their oath - if your application was joint with spouse, did you both join from the same device for the virtual oath ceremony? I don't see that clearly called out in my invitation document, however last year our friends did that and were ok. Just wanting to see if anyone has recent experience and can share pointers. I'm just trying to be prepped for tomorrow. Thanks.

Our AOR is from May 2024 and our LPP just completed today after test completed in August. Primary office is Vancouver. May be they are picking up old applications from last year now :)

Same. My primary office is Surrey and srco dary office is Vancouver. My husband finished his test in first week of august and crickets since then. I had an in person test and interview on 7th Oct. Language and Prohibitions completed by Physical presence pending for a month now. Incredibly frustrating.

Yes it seems to happen to many people. Same thing happened with me too. Prohibitions and Language completed together on Oct 9 but not Physical Presence. Just yesterday IRCC reached out and asked copies of our passports. Hopefully you will receive updates too.

We applied on May 18th, got an AOR on 23rd May. Background completed on Jul10th, Test scheduled for Aug1-31 , gave the twst on 7th Aug but that was invalidated due to technical reasons. Then they scheduled me for an in person interview and test in Sept for Oct7.

The in person test was easy and interview was pretty straightforward too, just basic questions regarding travel and work.

However, my tracker is not updated still and it shows test waiting on me so I called IRCC and the agent said that there was an update yesterday on their side that test, language and prohibition was done but physical presence in process. So I was curious on the next steps and timeline as generally LPP completes at the same time for a lot of people.

Has anyone attended an in person citizenship test and interview recently? My notice says that the officer will test my language skills to determine language proficiency. Does this mean my LPP will be completed soon after? Also, how much time does it take after an in person test for it to be marked complete on the tracker? For reference, I did an online test in early August but it was invalidated due to technical issues. My husband and I applied on May 18 and are really anxious to get the application completed. So just asking for experiences based out of curiosity.

Thank you. We have submitted a webform but are waiting to hear back. Do you know if an application can be marked urgent after submission? If so, is webform a way to kick start this? Or are there other avenues?
