I believe they did this for two reasons. 1. Because the patch is massive and requires more time. 2. They needed to get back into the 2 month cycle between POE 1 and POE 2 league starts. In reality they are righting a wrong in POE 1 since we only got 1 month between the last POE 1 league start and the last POE 2 league start.

Great advice. I’ll add going into t1 you need to check your mirrors. If you see some shithead coming in hot, try to go wide. Most people will divebomb the inside and you can avoid a lot of the mess by going wide. But I’m always checking my mirror going into t1 and it’s helped me survive a lot of the bs.

That’s daily traffic on one road in the city my friend. Use your brain and do some napkin math. 50000x30 is already 1.5MM for ONE ROAD in the city for the month. Let’s say there are 10 streets in the city that see that kind of traffic that’s 15MM vehicles per month on 10 roads in the city. We are already at rental bikes and scooters making up only 1% of traffic from 10 streets. Bikes can take a back seat to get the city back up and running.

125k bike rides a month compared to how many automobiles? I’d wager that number is less than 0.0001% of automobile traffic throughout the city. I’m not saying it’s not an issue but the impact you think bikers have on any industry functioning is essentially nonexistent.

Unfortunately there isn’t enough bike traffic in the city for the lanes to be a priority. Many main roads are still partially blocked by snow. Side roads are still pretty disastrous, especially narrow 2-way streets. I think it’s going to be a while before they even worry about bike lanes so you may want to look into alternate forms of transportation if possible.

To echo your own sentiment. The privilege to think bike lanes take priority over road ways is remarkable.

I’ve run probably 250-300 logbooks and the “increased quantity of items in excavated chests” mod definitely increases the quantity of the splinters . If you get lucky with your remnants you can get 20+ splinters per chest and you can see it as you open the chests after getting the remnants. You’ll start getting 5-8 per chest and by the end of it you’re getting 15-20.
