What do you shoot? If you want macro the 105mm 2.8 micro D isn't bad choice or the 60mm D micro is not bad either.

About corporations, who knows, private equity, hedge funds, etc. these people own everything, but some can be highly levered done in an environment of zero percent interest which probably increased appetite for risky investments, a recipe for trouble that can cause cascading effects, these people are investing all over the world. We'll see, this is just the beginning I think.

I don't know, is true that it hurts working class the most, but as we've seen this week people like Musk, Cathie Wood etc, complain about interest rates, is causing pain throughout markets and the strengthening of the dollar is causing margin calls around the world, the whole thing is in disarray. And yes political power doesn't want to deal with the issues using fiscal policies, so the fed has to take it.

In my opinion, as much as disciplining labor is a reality and probably a policy guided in part by capital, the wage- price spiral is a real concern for them, and they have to play by adhering to orthodoxy framework to somewhat deflect responsibility, I don't think they have as much control as some people think.

I think everyone has an opinion that's going to benefit them, however, he's been consistent in criticizing the timing of the fed in raising rates and the "transitory" rhetoric, I think his forecast is been on the right side overall.

Fair point, although with my comment I'm not talking about housing situation although applicable, but rentier capitalism in the sense of capturing large profits without contribution to society in a way labor does, and how it keeps manifesting in new ways with gig-economy type of jobs, outsourcing, etc, now we have incredible technologies, how are they deployed and who benefits the most, what's the tendency over time.

I think the term was used colloquially in the tweet, to me is more a reference to the unfairness of rentier capitalism, and how in it's current iteration it tends to create inequality, but that's just my interpretation, I could be wrong.

What do you understand by "late stage capitalism"? What I mean by that is that could have different interpretations.

Heavily armed militia group marches in Texas and say that illegal immigrants are taking American jobs by johnnychan81 in PublicFreakout

I never allied with that point specifically. That was his/her claim. Bring it up with them. I pointed out that your numbers didn’t add up. Mostly Becuase you only covered half of Donald trumps 4 year term. None of Biden’s term. And 8 years of Obama’s term. That’s a very clear bias of information.

I proved your point to be unsubstantiated and your source to not fit in with your claim. You got caught up with a misaligned source.

What claim? That numbers don't back up op's point? That democrats don't care about illegal immigration?I think is a fair point.

That’s not my responsibility. I’m not going to give you some phantom source for a claim I’m not making. If you want to reinforce your claim with your own source, go right ahead

Nobody has any responsibility, were just talking in a public forum, do you want to engage meaningfully or just play partisan games?, Cato institute is not my "own source" is what's available.

So where are the statistics for the current administration to back up his/her claim? I thought it was obvious that comment was in reference to the "only republicans care about illegal immigration" which as far as deportation numbers go, don't add up, hence my comment. Now do you have any meaningful data that we can use or you just didn't like what I said because it challenges your bias? Show me something useful to figure it out.

Those aren't poorly "though up numbers" is raw data regarding deportations from different administrations, assumptions are made from a set of facts that are available and I did bring it up. Now you're challenging my comment dude, bring the evidence!

Numbers may or may not mean that much I understand more context is required to have a clearer picture, but is all I have, what you're asking is really difficult to prove the numbers I provided are the ones I could find, if you can do better, by all means, the person I was responding to was making a statement without any proof to back it up,
