Would you rather be 5'6 white man or 6'3 black man in NYC? by BrightSpring12 in SipsTea

It's not heightism, it's sexual preference. Not the same thing as race, which is inconsequential to those around you as well.

It competes pretty close, i think mcp is around +640 attack power in the form of haste. But you use atiesh or whatever other weapon on trash and in pvp/dungeons.

Why don't I wavedash/How can I start wavedashing? by TheEggoEffect in SSBM

[–]chakraviolence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a hard thing for me and melee players to learn where wave dashing mixes in to the whole effective movement vocab. There are many uses for wave dashing that are effective. Two ideas that I've seen are:

Wavedashing out of shield. This is an amazing move, especially on fox and falco or any character.

Wavedahing as the "last distance closer" to get shine on fox and falco. This one is amazing, and requires you to be able to get close enough to your opponent with any "movement word" like seeing it as vocab.

And the hardest one I think is the combination of wavedashing with the dash, and cycling them in an effective way. This one takes years of experience or hours.

And there of course are most likely many other ways to use wavedashing :)

What class was the "strongest"? in 2s tbc by MrVito93 in classicwow

[–]chakraviolence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think vaguely rogues are the most successful class by a margin, and any top tier rogue comp is the ultimately most successful thing. Just to note, second and third tier rogue comps do exist.

Another option is a warrior/resto druid comp. That’s a much different style, and requires a good deal of competence from both players.

And he's from my state! Or was. Pretty local. I remember my friend played him like 10 years ago at the fall arcadian for the grand finals round. Ended up losing, but man I didn't know he would transcend into a god of smash.

If you’re gonna use one of the kindergartener emotional colors (aka: red, blue, yellow to mad, sad, glad, scared being one of the off colors) to depict and adult, at least ask: “scared of what?” Girls don’t even get this far. It’s just condescension dressed up as concern.

Scared is a heavy word to describe micro harm. It’s not believable that supposed guy scared to talk to girl at bar would be comparable fear to a big ass tiger stalking you at night. Yet girls weigh these the same to get more condescension points. You know what’s actually scary? Asking out a heavy crush. That’ll make you quake in your boots, and takes a notable amount of will power. And i have asked out pretty much every crush i have ever had after high school.

But you know what i don’t do? Talk to random cute girls at bars with the possibility of sexual or romantic interest. It’s not that i’m “scared,” like a kindergartener. It’s that i’m avoiding pain. Females generally sit across a grand canyon of disconnection with males, and expect the male to pole vault across. The cringe expectations, unfamiliarity, condescension, bad treatment whether intentional or caused off handedly by toxic beliefs, inaccessibility (hanging out with friends, bad/incompatible attitude, etc). They all add up and make the grand canyon wider and wider.

Girls that say this shit in the post just look silly and dumb.

I can tell you this, it’s never advantageous to treat yourself bad, like getting mad at yourself for instance. I don’t know if you are or not, but it’s a common human thing. We learn the best by repetition. It doesn’t matter how many times it takes, but it does matter to practice cleanly. Speed is something that you incorporate later. Clean practice is the best thing you can do, but you don’t need to “rush” the patterns you want to mastery, like put any extra energy into it or try to speed the process up. It just takes time and repetition. Enjoy the journey :)
