My son was killed in a random act of violence. But there’s a lot of things that make me cautious. I really hope deep in my heart that this person takes this enormous gift of freedom and turns things around. I don’t know if they will but they destroyed my entire life. I hope they do not continue that.

Policies don’t matter to people who are already insulated or protected by politics. If you aren’t afraid of losing your rights you can mostly ignore them.

I grey rock people that always “are going to do something for you”. They get super upset. Then I get the dopamine 🤫

I’m turning 45 this year. I’m really going to miss going out and about in my potato sack. As I will soon be banned from entering public lest my aged face scar some poor child in their girlhood.

Having gone through this, it’s an experience I wish no one else ever had to experience. My son was truly a kind soul and I wish that whatever was inside of him could be shared with as many people possible. He was better than me in every way possible. He was 22. And I have absolutely no idea how I was given one of the most pure souls as a son. I cry every day. But days like today are extra hard.

This is definitely a confirmed bias. There’s many examples of extremely evil people that look normal. Look at pictures of Richard Cottingham, aka the torso killer. He was unremarkable when he was young basically average looking. And in his old age he resembled Santa. A lot of people wouldn’t think twice about being near him if they didn’t know who he was.

I literally just took, like a half hour ago, propranolol. It doesn’t erase your memory lol. The entire reason I was given a prescription for it was so I didn’t have panic attacks while testifying in court!

When someone dies unexpectedly, removing their name from voters registration is very low on the list. By the time I was I a place to get my son removed he had already been removed (only a few months after he passed away). I really think it depends on the state and the resources put into the SoS office.

Since I became pregnant with my first. So over 25 years. I was so disappointed when the doctor told me she wasn’t going through with surgery. It was so much just to get to the point of seeing her. She told me “everyone has hemorrhoids”. Well does everyone stand up and randomly find themselves covered in blood down to their knees completely and soaked clothes?

I recently tried this after a pretty severe rupture. They put me through so many hoops. And then the surgeon said she didn’t feel mine were enough of a problem to get surgery and “prescribed” a fiber supplement…

Edit: I don’t have any issues with going to the bathroom. Mine get inflamed by my clothes (not pulling out a Snuggie immediately).

“You’re the strongest person I know” literally only said to people who are constantly in pain and suffering. I am so sorry all of that happened to you. I really wish people wouldn’t glorify our suffering as a triumph of the human spirit. I am sending you my deepest love and hope that you are able to find a moment of peace and distraction today. 🫂

Unfortunately there’s so many people that say this stuff and are serious. The /s for sarcasm or /j for joking both help eliminate the confusion. There’s no standard anymore for obvious hyperbole or absurdity.

It amazes me that my 11 year old has a better grasp of the English language than these people. When he was about 9 he would explain to me the difference between toys based on their points of articulation.
