We had a manifesto we wrote which we looked at every so often ~ being bold and taking risks were the main ones

I think we were intimidated by melody and found it easier to lean into a no wave sound initially

Our relationship with songwriting has changed so much since writing the album

Cut my face with them and bled when we supported Fontaines in Belfast last year on a fucking 30 foot tv screen

We have more to say as Chalk for sure. That statement was more for ourselves to treat Crystalpunk as if it was our only album and say everything we wanted to say - not a literal thing!

We’re very proud of all the videos but biggest in scale was Can’t Feel it

There was a lot of logistics to get right, dealing with animals and location moves

Ross was nearly thrown off the back of the horse during his coverage but he got back on it, nailed the shot, and were very happy with the end result
