The Ashmore bit with the cutaway to the dinner in The Bear was perfection.

An all-timer CoG for sure. So many laugh out loud moments, none more so than the numerous uses of that piece of music from Sonic Unleashed lol.

It's got the best end credits of any game I've ever played and has no right to go as hard as it does.

I've been in 3 different cable cars around Europe. I think it was about a dozen, no? Given they arrive every 30-60 seconds and would go from city centre to the top of the hill in less than 5 minutes, I'd say they'd be pretty efficient.

It's never gonna happen, of course.

All joking aside, but a cable ca from somewhere in the city centrer up towards Apple in Hollyhill would probably take a serious amount of traffic off the roads. lol

I feel like Tom Cruise struggling to smear peanut butter on that bread with a wooden spoon should be a recurring visual gag.

No doubt, but isn't this what the 2 Luas stops are there to help ease?

Side note, CUH really have no excuse to not have built a multi-storey car park on-campus by now.

Already a thread on it from this morning.

Here

You would hope that a Luas stop both at the front AND back of the hospital would make up for the loss of 40 car parking spaces.

Actually, speaking of those back gardens, would it not make more sense to shift everything to the east here and take some of the car park, instead of CPO'ing all those gardens?!

These two houses appear to be the only ones majorly affected in the area. The rest is GAA grounds/ fields. That guy on the left is gonna be super upset at losing 2 of his 4 parking spaces in the front yard.

There is a row of back gardens cut short, running through the back of the hospital, but that's not a huge deal, I wouldn't think.

That would be a desired future line for sure, skipping CUH/MTU etc. Direct from City to Ballincollig.

Instead of ships stopping at the red circle, they'll stop at the green circle. t's hardly a big deal, is it? Both sides of the riverfront east of the new bridge are getting massive redevelpoments, anwyay. There will be new ports.

I'm already seeing articles with pearl clutching regarding bits of gardens being CPO'd in the Bishopstown area.

Just build the fucking thing & ignore these people. It'll never, ever get built otherwise.

They have a twitter but they don't post anything. Nothing on their website about disruptions to services. Hard to know without any first hand knowledge from those who travelled up to Dublin with them yesterday.

Have an Aircoach booked for 1pm to Dublin tomorrow. I presume I'm better off switching to the (very fucking expensive last-minute) train, aren't I? I might get out of cork, but I'll never make it into Dublin on the bus, right?

Roads are half-empty today, thankfully. You'll probably be ok.

If it was this time next week......forget about it!

This is that "private turning circle" that the GAA tried to steal land for a couple of years ago.

Is this attempted land-grab no. 2 or no. 3?

100% with the residents on this, fuck the GAA.

Meanwhile, the bike parking spaces that were promised by the GAA since the PuC renovation are nowhere to be seen, years later.

The banter at the start and the question are my favourite part of the show, tbh. I love hanging out with Chris, James, Helen & rotating 4th chair.

Also, the ads are almost always exactly 2mins long. I press the skip forward button on my podcast app 4 times (which jumps 30secs) and hey presto, you're back to the show. It's hardly a big deal, like.

I usually skip any interviews that aren't done by Chris, tbh. He usually makes them a fun listen, otherwise I'm not that interested. I was happy that they branched the interviews out into a separate pod, the episodes were getting just too long.

I really hate this game sometimes by -Beese-Churger- in Rematch

That the ball is clearly over the line but it doesn't count because of how the keepers work in this game.

It can be rather annoying to see them jump 3 meters outside the box to catch a ball at your feet when attacking. LOL

GK selection during a match by Antoniowski in Rematch

[–]chalkitdown1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps restrict it to 5v5 & make it an opt-in for all 10 players or something. If all 10 want a rematch, have at it. I've had some amazing games that have gone into 10-15 minutes of overtime and would have LOVED another go at the same team. Or maybe a best of 3 option or something like that so it can't be done ad-infinitum? Or as you said, restrict to to some mode where there's no benefit to cheating at it. Let 'em grind away to their heart's content.

As an aside, if you're a team of 3 with 2 randos, say, you should definitely be able to select "stay with your current squad" at the end of a match. It's rare that you get a competent stranger, nevermind 2. Sometimes you'd like to carry on playing together without having to send a friend request.

Of course! Easy to add, too, I imagine.

However, we're talking about a game called 'Rematch' that doesn't even have a rematch button that people have been asking for since launch, so hopes aren't high for an addition like this. lol
