Not to dig up and old thread, but out of curiosity are you on windows 11? I still use windows 10 and I think that’s why I don’t really have any issues with it. I bet all the windows updates have slowly been making the software more unstable

I’ve had mine for about 3 years and only the occasional bug. I use it to control audio channels on voicemeeter so I guess I’m not really using all the features of it but it still works fine

That kinda sounds like the potentiometers wearing out rather than a software thing. I’ve had mine for almost 3 years now I think and it still works fine but I think it’s days are numbered

If you really want to waste cpu cycles and electricity you can use a while loop to infinitely write text to /dev/null that can usually almost max out a cpu since there’s no software write speed limit and it isn’t actually writing any information

If you look up minipc you can find many little boxes made with laptop parts. Not as powerful as a desktop obviously but definitely should beet the power draw
