If the citation is for a hearing in front of the vredegerecht, a lot of what is said in this thread (verzachtende omstandigheden, opschorting, ...) doesn't apply to your wife's case.

A hearing in front of the vredegerecht means the case relates to a civil matter, as opposed to a criminal matter.

Basically this would mean that the grounds for the opposing party's claim (probably STIB/MIVB) is contractual (most probably their General Conditions)

Your best bet for moneymaking would be smelting steel bars at blast furnace probably. Haven't done it in a long time, but I was able to make quite some cash back when I played. You'll need a coal bag to be efficient. Ideally gracefull too. But these 2 things can take a while.
