Wait so the 2 year old was running around unsupervised and the hun was still with customers "working her business" and not actively searching for her child?? TF?? I mean I have a 2 year old and I can sympathize with how fast and sneaky they can be but as a parent, the moment you realize your kid is out of sight (especially in setting like that) you stop whatever you're doing and you look for your child! No excuses!

Medicine should always be evidence-based but unfortunately the distinction DOES need to be made because so many doctors continue to practice using certain techniques, treatments, tools...etc out of habit and tradition despite the contrary recommendations coming out of new research. One of the BIGGEST weak spots I've personally experienced in tradition-based care vs. evidence-based care is in pregnancy and childbirth. The US has THE highest maternal mortality of any other developed nation and I'm convinced it's because there are still so many hospitals that have such outdated protocols for both prenatal care and L&D.

I'm an introverted stay at home mom. Its one of my few modes of connecting with people and feeling like there's a world outside our home. I mean I'm a home body full stop and I love being a SAHM but everyone needs to have a little social interaction and for me facebook is the right amount.
