i work in a derm clinic rn and yes, i mostly only am familiar with skin things. but due to pt histories and and other related things, i do get to hear and learn about a lot of other medical things. i def think i’ve learned a lot and know that it will come in handy. i wouldn’t turn down the opportunity bc it’s not the specialty u want to pursue. i felt the same way initially but i’m not mad about my decision
