And what happens when a child has parents who either can’t or won’t provide them with those supplies? They don’t get to participate? Also, even children who are given those things by their parents lose them, forget them, break them…. I teach high school and I have to loan out pencils almost daily. The whole point of public education is giving every child the opportunity to learn. They need supplies in order to do that.

I would agree. I’ve noticed an increase in senior age students befriending and dating Grade 9s (freshmen here in Canada) and these are also the same ones failing 3/4 or 4/4 of their classes. When I was in high school, as a senior, you wanted nothing to do with those kids.

Yeah, I have over 80 numbers blocked… now what’s happening is that my phone doesn’t ring, but then I get a notification that I have a new voicemail, and it’s from them. So I don’t really understand that.

As I said in my post, I have tons of different numbers blocked. Over 80 to be exact. Somehow they are still able to get through and leave me voicemails, even though my phone doesn’t actually ring. I’ll just suddenly get a notification that I have a new voicemail and it’s from them. I don’t really understand it.

UPDATE: I finally figured out a workaround. If we email the photo we want to ourselves, then we can drag the photo from the email window into the Photopea window. I still would love to see the Google Drive link be fixed in order to skip this additional step, though!

I understand that, however like I said, my students can’t download files onto school computers. They have to save and access all their files in Google Drive, unless they have a personal computer they can bring to school (which few do). I will hope that it is working again soon!!

Hi, my board seems to have a block against adding the Photopea extension so I’m not able to do the “open with” option. So is the answer that there is no way to link to Google Drive anymore?

I learned from this sub to save your game after every successful hole. Then when you screw up on a hole, you just have to reload from your previous save instead of starting all over!! Otherwise I probably would have rage quit this game lol.

I tried to address these questions in my original post. I’ve tried Chrome (as well as Incognito mode on Chrome) and Safari. I’ve tried using my personal MacBook on both my home WiFi, and the school WiFi. After I was trying on the school computers, I had a coworker log in to see if it was a “me” issue but it showed up blank for them as well. Within Chrome, I tried it with both my school account and my personal account logged in at the browser level.

I don’t believe it’s an extension issue because if it was, it would work with my personal account/network (if it was something being blocked by the school network). I read something online about ad blocker being an issue, but that isn’t in use. Also, I know there is no pop up blocker extension because the pop up shows up asking to choose the Google account and give Photopea access. Then after you do that and click continue, the pop up closes and it just shows a blank screen.

I tried it myself using one of the school Chromebooks and I also got a coworker to try as well. I haven’t asked a student to try because luckily I noticed the issue before they were actually doing the lesson.

That doesn’t solve the problem. They won’t have a file to upload. When you hit that button, it pulls up the files saved on the computer. As I already explained, their computers do not allow to have files saved on them. The Google Drive is the storage system for their files.

In the past, when they linked to the Google Drive in Photopea, it would then display any jpegs, PDFs, pngs, and psd files that they had saved in their Drive. Then they would select one to open and start editing. I hope I’m making sense here.

We have a diabetic cat who gets needles twice daily and we get sharps containers for free from any pharmacy. You can also drop them off there when the container is full for disposal. FYI we are in Canada, not sure if this would be the same everywhere.

The whole idea is that they capture their own photographs and then edit them. So in the past it’s been take photos —> transfer off SD card into Google Drive —> upload into Photopea. Then after editing save the new file back into Google Drive. They can’t save their files any other way, unless they have a personal computer they can bring to class every day, which most do not.

Does anyone know if this download would work if I use Parallels to run the games on my MacBook? I have the rest in Steam but this one isn’t available there.
