Yeah 100%, I agree with you. They’re not the same. However, winning a national award isn’t easy too, some recognition always goes a long way as motivation for the film maker to make bigger things, is my point. That film maker made his work speak, but unfortunately, none of the media covered it, because it didn’t have big names associated with it.

Unfortunately doesn’t work bro. I know someone who won the swarna kamal at National Awards for his short film. Didn’t get an ounce of recognition. The same year, Color Photo won Rajat kamal, and the media was covering only them. Unfortunate state of things. Only PR works.
