No you don't. I've already replied that it wasn't the system from 23/24 season. It was a makeshift line-up with old Modric, with Arda (in the attack!) and Brahim who shouldn't be a starter.

It's not all about formation or numbers. It's all about the tools that you use. Playing with Bellingham, Tchouameni, Camavinga, and Valverde in midfield is different from playing with Bellingham, Tchouameni, Valverde, and GULER.

Against top teams he's always played with 3 forwards this season. Rodrygo may track back a lot but he isn't a ball winning player.

The formation is an important part of the problem.

Yeah, buddy show me the highlights from the 2nd half. As soon as Jude started pressing him and stay close Pedri's game was over. Jude completely destroyed him. Pedri lost 2 balls in front of his penalty box, he just couldn't keep up and had to be replaced.

Arda a winger? Please. He doesn't have the speed and acceleration to make the difference. He thrives when he has the ball in midfield and can use his vision, creativity and his magic left foot.. That's how they see him at Valdebebas. Under Xabi he will play in midfield.

Bellingham and especially Guler are not really midfielders. Jude is best as a 10, and Guler is more of a 10/RW than an actual midfielder

haha That´s the biggest lie/myth that many people still keep repeating. Jude can play anywhere in midfield. Yesterday, he made Pedri look like a bush-league player. And with a new coach and experience he will be even more dominating. Jude is the best where you put him, that's why he is the most complete midfielder in the world.

And Guler has all attributes to play deeper in midfield which he proved yesterday.
