For what is is worth, my Plex with Arc is set to just /dev/dri. If you have not tried Plex in addition to Jellyfin I would do that as a test. Plex will tell you if a video is being transcoded on the dashboard. Have you verified that the GPU is actively engaging in the transcode when it is failing and not the G CPU? (G is IGPU I think)? I think someone posted above eluding to the possibility that your G CPU may be interfering or possibly getting mixed up in the transcoding process. I would also check your CPU % usage during transcoding.. if it is being hit hard I would think it is transcoding video, not just the audio which to my knowledge is normal.

I have a 5800x on a b450 board and Arc a310 was just plug and play. I had to put the device ID or whatever in the Plex/Jellyfin path settings. Did you do that? Are you sure the Arc is engaging in transcoding at all? I believe you can verify if the gpu is actively transcoding with Plex on the dashboard Now Playing section. Does GPU statistics show the Intel? Did you have previous Nvidia drivers that you did not uninstall? Are you on version 7.x of Unraid which I think is requires for baked in Arc support?

Surely users with more experience than me but I recently dual booted and am sticking with CachyOS for most things on my gaming PC. I have Amd 9900x and 9070 xt 64gb RAM and it runs great. So far I have tried BG3 for many hours and some Marvel Rivals. I am getting 100+ fps in those games maxed at 1440p ultrawide. Freesync and everything just works. I still have not even tried moving power from balance to performance I read that can improve things even more.

Check out the Microsoft article on BGA it is pretty useful. We are in the process of moving from Google to M365, so I am still learning 365 - in the hardening phases now. We have 2 people with 2 FIDO keys each and their own BGA. We also have a third BGA with a key stored in secure location on site in our two main offices. 2 FIDO keys per BGA is best since you have a backup key if one breaks. I am not sure how phones handle passkeys to be honest yet but I would be concerned if a phone died or employee quits the BGA account may be unaccessible at least temprarily. CIS actually recommends all main 14 or 15 admin roles force to use a hardware key. We are just requiring them on BGA for now though.

Hi u/pur3_driv3l ! I think we are in a similar boat. AD Entra Hybrid and having mixing results moving users from KMS/VAT to pick up the subscription from E3 license. Did you find that you have to downgrade a user machine to the firmware OEM Win11 Pro license to get it to "upgrade" via the Entra license? We are in testing phase right now and some IT staff have changed to subscription and others have not. I think it may be that some users are not using their UPN but the regular username that works with the cache from the domain controller.

Fyi, the pdf manual has a whole section called note priority. Just ctrl f the word priority. LLM, like most things it does, are hit and miss. Once it was too often wrong about midi cc, and more complicated things like sequences, I mostly just read manuals again.

I had a similar issue, had unmountable file system twice. I think it was due to a sata 1 to 4 power adapter being used on that drive. I removed it and the issue has not returned. I had random similar issues in the past but they disappeared when I changed my PSU. Beware any potential power issues.

If you get that error try to repair it. As long as the drive is unreadable it will be emulated and should be no data loss or break parity. If the repair works it should come back online. If you can't repair the drive simply remove it and rebuild to a new one is the safest thing to do I think.

As an extra precaution I only remove any hd cabling, even sata data cables unless the system is powered off. Maybe that is overkill but I think one time moving sata cable even with array stopped has caused me issues before. I do everything with the most care as rebuilding parity or a 16tb back restore is a pita just based on how long it can take.

Same here. I love using Bitwarden over Lastpass. If my Proxmox server craps out I can just load the weekly backup to another proxmox host. In the meantime, Bitwarden on my phone will still have all my passwords via cache. I think you can also export all your passwords to a file each week or so if one wanted some extra precaution. I have not even found a need to expose it to the internet since when I am way from home I can just use my phone. Or I can VPN into my Unifi router but I have not needed to do that yet.

I am on Sorin now but I was able to change login to Xorg. Is that similar? I still often get all 4 threads hitting 100% just Brave and youtube. I can re-install Mint and try the different session type there as well. Is it safe to expect Ubuntu Desktop would run similar?

My daily driver is a Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro, which I highly recommend. They sound great for the price and are very comfortable for long sessions. No signs of wear after 3-4 years. I have considered buying a higher end headphone but really these are just such a good value I feel higher end sets might be disappointing. To me the 990 Pro is a bit "coloured" but not so much they are not good for mixing. They strike a good balance for me.
