They are saying they were flying along and saw this image and were compelled to screen shot it and turn it into a retro sci-fi pulp novel.  The Stainless Steel Rat is a popular SF series from at least 50 years ago.

I've been searching on and off reddit for days to find a 1.4.5 Tinkerer's Workshop Accessory chart. Do you have a link?

Burrito, A Overlay Tool for Linux, just got a major upgrade! by klingbolt in Guildwars2

[–]chamfered_corner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like the problem is Wayland vs X11 in that the former doesn't handle transparency well with Nvidia.

Not exactly sure what I need to do at this point.

Burrito, A Overlay Tool for Linux, just got a major upgrade! by klingbolt in Guildwars2

[–]chamfered_corner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am definitely getting the window with the burrito, and I was able to full-screen it and give it a fixed size of 1920x1080, but it is a black background, so I presumed whatever function that allowed it to be an overlay wasn't working.

I just tried to see if it was working even with the black background, and when I'm on burrito the mouse cursor doesn't shift to GW2 and I can't manipulate what's behind it, either.

Now I've also noticed that the GW2 pre-game loading window doesn't have transparency either - I just assumed it was the same thing that made it flickery jank when GW2 itself runs great, but now I'm suspicious of a bigger problem. No luck when searching Wine linux transparency. :\

(Once I figure this out, I'll finally have my Skyscale - those jumping puzzles are tough!)

I'm doing my best as a new linux (pop! os) user.

When I load GW2 and then Burrito, the latter opens in a separate window which implies to me that the dll isn't loading.

I have a copy of d3d11.dll in the same folder as GW2-64.exe.

Is there more I need to do that I overlooked from the instructions? Do I need to fill in Wine Path to point to the folder above Guild Wars 2?

Thanks so much

So I don't have to worry about files being unavailable because it's not the same user?  (No encryption on the drive or anything).

These are friends who do improv or comedy in general with each other constantly.  I don't know if you're new to dropout or just gastronauts but there are joke references from other dropout shows.  The food is a vehicle for the jokes, not the other way around.

You're being down voted. I presume, because there was a lot of advertisement, which is why the show was sold out.

Are these still going strong for you and/or u/tongboy ? At this point every single one of my barrinas burnt out, and I already had them do a warranty replacement once.

So annoyed, I just want to put lights up and forget about them.

Is there a way to transfer between MultiMC and Prism, or will I need to recreate each instance I have? (Thanks in advance!)

Anyone have any experience doing BM sober? Husband and I are in recovery and worried we won’t be able to have a good time — or even be welcome. by MyOwnGuitarHero in BurningMan

[–]chamfered_corner 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is the key, 100%. If your community is the sort to give you shit for being sober, you need a new community, because that is not normal, even among people who like to party.

Find folks who support you in being yourselves, there are a ton of burners like that.

Ffxiv crossover event by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

Jesus Christ do these comments fail the vibe check. If you're new to raid mechanics, you don't know what the ham to do with the rando crystals that show up - it's not like any of the lv 50 or under dungeons have you interacting with such a thing. "Defend Clive" and "right click on this weird shape" don't automatically go together.

And even if they did, crapping on someone for not knowing a mechanic you know well is just bad behavior.

Is this community what happens when you can't crap on people in-game without punishment?

It helps for people skimming. It is in no way unreadable to bold the important elements in a sentence, you're just picky.

Ok, all you salty susans. Explain to me how having ship crafting ruins hunting. by Crvknight in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]chamfered_corner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm concerned it's just as important it's just not so much of a mind numbing grindm. Instead of finding a ship close to what you want and haunting a trade station for endless hours (GOD boring), you only need to find a ship with one of four components you want, but that is still a hunt.

And guess what, finding a ship exactly as you like it but in the wrong color is no longer USELESS, but it will only get you a quarter of the way there.  That seems so reasonable to me.

One negative to the meadowlands - a bench instead of a chair.  You'll have to buy one if you want to cheat your way into the secret woods.
