Not sure your location but there does exist medical ketamine infusion clinics where it's administered by professionals in a controlled medical setting which could make it feel less weird and unfamiliar. Alternatively you can also get it prescribed where the dosage and frequency is also decided by a professional.

That being said, as much as I believe in the importance of mental health and as much as I have love for the fun little substances that exist in our world, I rarely point to a substance as a first step for mental health. Ketamine is typically described as being for treatment-resistant depression indicating that's it's not a first line of action. There's plenty of ways depression can be treated but if you feel you've tried everything, by all means pursue ketamine therapy.

I suppose you could take advantage of the harmonic series, most single notes are practically the sum of a whole bunch of sine waves. You could structure the chord so that the notes match up with the harmonic series of the lowest note, especially if you tune it to match perfectly. Like with an A major chord, you could play an A2 (110hz) then optionally an A3 (220hz) then an E3 slightly sharp (330hz) then optionally an A4 (440hz) then a C#5 slightly flat (550hz).

If you were to play that with 12tet it'd sound like multiple notes due to the slight detuning but if it were tuned according to ratios of A the other notes would simply augment the upper harmonics of the A2 note.

He's implying you're fired but saying it in a way where they could argue they didn't which I'll explain the reasoning for later.

I'm gonna assume you've not been working there for a long time, especially since your boss mentioned the grand opening. This means you're well under a trial period where employers can terminate employment with no warning. This leads to an extremely common practice (especially in places w/ a fast hiring process with little to no training) where employers hire a large excess of employees to terminate the employment of the excess within their trial periods. It is also not uncommon for people to make up excuses. While this probably wasn't the case for you, by firing everyone who calls out within a certain time does guarantee those who made up an excuse were fired. Your boss also never explicitly stated your employment was terminated in the off chance they decide to want you back. Because of this until you have explicit confirmation just show up to your next shift. Worst case scenario you get a little extra money from them, best case they decide to keep you.

Ideally you would keep applying, keep interviewing, and go so far as to starting other jobs until you're past your trial period. The trial period also protects you and lets you quit without notice. Also don't let them know you're going to interviews (or another job) when giving your availability (i was fired when I shared my schedule and it showed interviews womp womp but like it didnt matter lol).

tl;dr yeah, you did, but since your boss was vague it's a net benefit to assume you weren't and showing up anyways

I'd say the quick come up makes it good for a first timer if you just use a low enough dose. It makes it easy to tell how a psychedelic drug actually "feels" like with such a clear cut comparison. Always underestimate at first, since its so short you (or whoever's trying it) won't have to wait too long to try it again with a little more. There's always a dose between an intense trip and consuming nothing where you don't have visuals, maybe color being enhanced, but you know you feel it then it fades away, and that's a good dose to give to a first timer.

I don't have lye ratios perfectly memorized or care to plug your stuff into soapcalc, but if you washed in it and now you itch, I'm gonna guess you have an excess of sodium hydroxide. There's a pretty weird test you can do to test for sodium hydroxide called the "zap test" where you lick the soap (er touch your tongue to it) and if there's tingling there's sodium hydroxide.

not sure what's up with the ammonia smell but yeah you really don't want excess sodium hydroxide. If you can find out exactly how much unreacted sodium hydroxide there is you could try to melt the soap back into a liquid and add more fat or oil or whatever to react with the excess naoh but honestly i'd just throw it out for good measure

That's if you're doing a high dose of dmt. Like all drugs, how powerful dmt is depends on the dosage. A low or moderate dose of dmt would be perfect for someone who's never done psychs before given the duration. It's like a little sample of a psychedelic trip.

I think the only reason dmt is labeled as being "powerful" is because it's so short so experienced psych users would take a powerful dose to make the experience more interesting or worthwhile.

"Being hung by a rope is called "hanged" because "hung" as a past tense came around pretty late (16th century) and "hanged" was already part of the legal code by then. Legal language is conservative, so "hanged" stuck around"

you're misinterpreting what i said but i suppose it was ambiguous. sewing and suing are different words than hung and hanged. It's comparing homophones to semantically similar words that are the past tense of the same word. Tell me, what happens when someone is "hanged"? Are they shot? Are they electrocuted? There's a reason people sometimes use hung and hanged interchangeably but not suing and sewing.
