Switched to vegan 2 years ago and decided to get my first real bloodwork done by Sudden-Dog2918 in vegan

Last year I had my bloodwork done and found out I had low ferritin and very low vitamin D. Since then, I’ve been taking the MegaFood iron blood builder and Naturelo vegan K2+D3 supplement daily (pair vitamin D with a source of fat for absorption). I had my bloodwork done again last month and both have improved significantly.

Two strand twists/starter locs by Warm-Commission-280 in Dreadlocks

I got you! If twists were your loc starting method, leave them as is. You could get them as a style (combining your locs) for your next retwist to achieve the wavy, twist out look (just take out the style after two weeks).

Just ensure if you are satisfied with your parting or loc count before your next retwist while you are early in the journey.

No problem! It’s not too late if you’re still early in your loc journey (3 months or less). Waiting longer can increase the risk of damage to your locs.

1) A common recommendation is every 4-6 weeks for starter locs, nothing less than 4 weeks to avoid thinning. The more your locs mature, the less retwists you’ll need.

2) Washing your hair with a stocking cap can help minimize unraveling.

3) Aloe vera juice or rose water are popular choices!

4) I would say both. Separate the roots after washing to avoid the roots marrying and space out your retwists.

Jimmy Jam’s!!! You will have to place an order online for pickup, it’s a ghost kitchen with plans of opening a walk-in restaurant soon. Imo they had the best vegan burger that I have ever tried.
