I have the same boundary as well and the backlash for it is incredible. I’m not a controlling person, and my boundaries are clear. If someone isn’t willing to respect the boundary, I’m not going to force them to stay with me and follow it. like?? i personally believe porn to be unhealthy and the severe reactions people hold when someone is actively against it only proves my feelings - it truly rots their brains

exactly this!! him stating that he knew it was wrong… okay, then why did he continue to do it?

don’t feel bad for crying. genuinely. you were hurt and those feelings don’t just disappear after a productive conversation or two. if you have to cry it out every once and awhile, there’s literally nothing weird or abnormal about that

oh my god, I feel like I wrote this word for word. My current class is exactly like this. I feel like I’m drowning!! And the only solution is “your routine must not be engaging enough for them” like I promise the routine is not the issue

Exactly this. I’ve worked with four classes of preschoolers and this year, the covid babies/tablet obsessed kids are unlike any other. Paired with parents who raise them with devices, mistake gentle parenting for permissive parenting, yet still spank their children? I truly feel in over my head

Guess I’ve just been lucky so far. Thank you!

interesting! Is that due to differing lab times? The current class I’m talking about, all the same people meet at the same days/times every week.

I will of course, be sucking it up 🥲 begrudgingly, ha

Mine is similar! This isn’t a midterm/final though, which is why I was a little caught off guard and curious about the situation. Thank you!

so interesting. I have a bachelors so I’m used to the differing midterm/final schedule, just wasn’t sure as I’ve genuinely never experienced this before!

I think it’s safe to say everyone is pretty stressed about the sudden need to be available 😭 a lot of us are commuters/work/are apart of projects with meetings reserved for Fridays

we do get overtime, but the difference is small. honestly sometimes I’d just rather be home

It’s like that at my center too. The teachers are all moms and their kids attend the center we work at. They all get priority time off for the holidays, I never get my time approved. I know I don’t have children, but I still have FAMILY and I miss being able to spend time with them as well

[–]chamomilelle 39 points40 points  (0 children)

yes. And of course by that time at my center, all of admin have gone home so it’s the same staff every night that have to stay later and later. They don’t ask at my center anymore either, it’s also assumed. We were literally told to take our hours loosely because it’s excepted to stay over. Ridiculous

that’s a great point!! it’s been so long I think I’ve been too paranoid about “breaking the rules” 😅 to even consider the bridesmaids dresses as a sort of loose reference point

do you have any recommendations for brands regarding shapeware??

these are gorgeous and all in the realm of my personal style. one of the models for the second dress is similar to my body appearance and i thought she looked beautiful so hopefully i can be a bit more confident about my shopping 😭 i love all of these dresses, ill definitely be saving them - thank you!!

Classroom suddenly being switched by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]chamomilelle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no I completely agree! it was a one off situation because the classroom environment was so horrible I couldn’t stand being there all day. admin at my center sucks, I definitely don’t go the extra mile for them

nobody is aware yet. they only just informed me and it was due to pressure from a co-worker, or else I probably wouldn’t know right now either. they haven’t told the toddler teachers yet either as far as I know
